THE SKI & SPORTS CLUB OF WASHINGTON, DCGREAT SPORTS FOR ALL SEASONS |
The SCWDC Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for the 2025 Board of Directors. This is an open call for nominees who must be members for at least a year in the club, and active in one or more programs. So often, members have expressed their interest in serving the SCWDC. Now is a wonderful time to get involved in a leadership position and help shape the future of our club.
We are always looking for resolute leaders to help run the club trips and activities throughout the year. If you have ever wanted to change something or have your voice heard on an issue, now is the best time to put your personalized stamp on the club by running for a leadership position. Who would like to run? A Director’s position is for two years, and the President’s position is for one year. The Board of Directors meets monthly on Zoom, and the annual election will be on Tuesday, April 10. The deadline to receive candidate applications is Friday, February 7, 2025.
If you would like to learn more, please provide a brief bio of yourself, a facial photo, and why you believe you would be a suitable candidate. Even if you are unsure about putting your hat in the ring for a Board position, we would still like to hear from you and know your questions. Happy holidays!
Best,
The Nominating Committee
