For those who enjoy Eastern skiing, and local favorites such as Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley, Ski Liberty, Ski Roundtop, or Whitetail, we  offer a variety of weekend and day trips.  For our local trips, we emphasize beginner skiing lessons, as well as Ski Performance Enhancement (SPE) lessons from our own SCWDC staff of ski instructors. Beyond skiing, however, these group trips are a wonderful social event as well, where we meet new people and enjoy activities together. We provide a trained leader to keep the group together and address any individual issues.

The typical Eastern ski trip can be one of three different types: the one day, the long weekend, and the week-long.

The one-day trips are typically to White Tail, Round Top or Ski Liberty resorts as they are within easy driving distance. The Club gets a discount on lift tickets as well as rental equipment. Transportation is by privately owned vehicles.

The long weekend trips usually are out to Snowshoe, Canaan Valley or Timberline. Groups consist of 16-30 people, and we stay in condos or in a lodge. Pricing includes discount lift tickets for three days (Fri, Sat, Sun), a Thursday night welcome reception, Friday night group dinner, and a happy hour Saturday night. Transportation is again by privately owned vehicles.

The Eastern week-long trips are known as "flight trips", as we typically fly to our destination, which is typically Killington, Stowe, or Mt. Snow in New Hampshire or Vermont. Groups are 16-30 people and we stay in condos or a lodge. All air / bus transportation is provided to/from the destination. We also provide discount lift tickets, plus some evening receptions and a dinner or two.
