2026 ANNUAL SCWDC ELECTION - Call for Candidates

The SCWDC Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for the position of President and for the Board of Directors.

If you have ever wanted to change a Club Policy or have your voice heard on an issue, now is the best time to put your personalized stamp on the Club by running for a leadership position. Who would like to run? A Director serves for two years, and the President serves for one year. The President and the eight Directors meet monthly, sometimes in-person and more often by web-based Zoom video.

If you would like to learn more, please send an email to the Club with information about your membership, a short summary of your Club activities, and your contact information. The deadline to receive candidate applications is March 15, 2026. The Club email address is office@scwdc.org.  A Nominating Committee member will contact you.

Even if you are unsure about putting your hat in the ring for the Presidency or a Board position, we would still like to hear from you and know your questions. We are looking for resolute leaders to help run Club trips and activities throughout the year. We also need all types of skills, such as administrative, legal, accounting, marketing, governance and more.

The Annual Election and Awards meeting will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026 and the meeting event will be posted soon on the Club calendar.  Advance registration is required.  Our SkiGram newsletter will provide additional detail.
