@ Auld Shebeen Restaurant in Fairfax

This year we are hosting our Annual Election & Awards meeting and party at the Auld Shebeen Irish Pub and Restaurant. This will provide our Club with another social activity for us to get together. As part of this event, we will be conducting our annual election of club officers (short meeting) as well as acknowledging our volunteers who have contributed their time and efforts to the club activities. This is another DON'T MISS activity. Appetizers, soft drinks and water will be provided. Irish beer and other adult beverages will be available for purchase at our private bar. SCWDC members are FREE; non-member guest fee is only $10/pp.

Free Parking near the restaurant in a three-story parking garage (Old Town Plaza Fairfax Public Parking) with entrances off Rt 123 and University Drive.  FYI, THERE IS NO DEDICATED RESTAURANT PARKING.  SEE THE MAP HERE

Using University Drive to enter garage: address is 3950 University Drive and the garage entrance 20 yards from this address.  Entrance is visible from University Drive but the turns into the garage are not shown on this map . Coming in this way, go up the ramp to park on the upper floor and walk out to the other entrance/exit which fronts on Chain Bridge.  Go out this way to Chain Bridge, turn left, cross North St. and proceed to the restaurant.  With heavy traffic on Chain Bridge, this is the best entrance to use.  Enter this address into your smartphone driving app.  

If you walk out from the same entrance that you came in, you'll be on University Drive, turn right and walk 40 yards to North St., cross over and walk along North St. to the Auld Shebeen, lower level.

Using Rt 123 to enter garage: address is 3925 Chain Bridge Rd for using in a smartphone app. You will make a turn into a long driveway between two buildings, but garage entrance is not visible from the street.  Once parked, exit out the same way that you came in, turn left, cross over North St. and proceed to the restaurant.  The Auld Shebeen is at the corner of North and Chain Bridge.  Chain Bridge Rd is a very busy street and the parking garage sign is very small, placed on a building. 

At Auld Shebeen, there is a outside entrance to the side of the main entry door that will take you directly into the party room, called the "Cellar."
