Meet 9:45 AM Sunday, October 13 at the David C. Driskell Community Park at 3911 Hamilton Street, Hyattsville, MD.  Park near the small recreation center, where there are restrooms.

Proceed south through the park a few hundred yards to the Northwest Anacostia Tributary Trail and take this west for approximately 2 miles, then turn left (west northwest) onto Sligo Creek Trail.  This paved biking and hiking trail is lovely and surrounded by woods, winding along Sligo Creek.  We will cross three busy streets, but will be largely completely away from traffic.  We will head west approximately 8 miles, almost to Wheaton Regional Park., then turn around and come back to Driskell Park.  Total mileage will be approximately  20 miles.

Hope's house is a block from Driskell Park.  She will supply sandwiches, soft drinks and fruit for lunch   Lunch address is: 4000 Ingraham Street, Hyattsville, MD.

Helmets are mandatory on all rides
