Resort:

Spend a week with us at our annual trip to the legendary ski paradise that is Taos Ski Valley. Situated in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of New Mexico, the area is completely bounded by the pristine Carson National Forest.  

Mountain:
Founded by Ski School Director Ernie Blake, Taos is one of the very few family-owned and operated ski areas in the U.S. It offers a rare combination of high altitude (9000' base), high snowfall (over 300" annually, mostly dry powder), and sunshine (300+ days a year). 

Lodging: 

We'll be staying at the Snakedance Condos, located adjacent to the main lift in 2-bedroom units.  Taos resort website for more resort information.

Base Cost:  $2,610  ("Ski Week" included - Lift Tickets not-included - IKON Pass destination) 

• One BR Condo -Last lodging available on request. Not available as a single supplement. Contact trip leader to check availability.
• Single Supplement: add $998 - Trip Leader will advise availability.  Please complete, sign, and return the Single Supplement Acknowledgement Form to the trip leader.       
• Ground Only:  deduct $374 - available after group air minimums are met.  Please complete, sign, and return the Ground Only Acknowledgement Form to the trip leader.

Note: Trip prices are subject to change due to airline, resort, exchange rate (International trips) and other factors. We continue to work towards lower airline rates in the current market. Price increases or decreases will be reflected in the final invoice.

Lift Tickets:

• IKON Pass are available for purchase from our tour operator, and receive a trip rebate, (ski.com), or through IKON Pass.  For your consideration:
  • Please read the terms and conditions of the pass product(s) you're considering carefully before buying including blackout dates on the Base Pass and Base Plus Pass.  Your Ikon Pass product, once purchased, is non-transferable and non-refundable.  Please consider trip insurance to cover your Ikon Pass cost.
  • Ikon Pass products are subject to future price increases until purchased.  Buy early to lock in your price.
  • Special passes for Nurses, Military, and College students must be purchased directly from Ikon.

Cancellation Fees:
A $50 cancellation applies for any cancellations prior to 10/15/24.  Afterwards, the participant will also be responsible for any unrecoverable expenses, including 3% credit card transaction fees on applicable payments. 

Payment Schedule (per person):
$500 deposit is due w/ registration. Remaining balance is due on October 15, 2024, and may be paid by credit card or check.  

Participants must be current SCWDC members, or members of a Blue Ridge Ski Council (BRSC) member ski club. You can sign up as an SCWDC member online HERE.
