This is Old Town's favorite sports bar restaurant which was founded in 1975 by Joe Theismann, former Redskins quarterback. The restaurant re opened in September 2019 after major renovations. The new menu includes pan seared salmon, beef short ribs and Southern fried chicken. Some appetizers are: Reuben fries and Philly flatbread. There will be a special turkey dish for Thanksgiving with a price of $29.00 which includes, appetizer and dessert. You may also order off of the menu at a la carte prices.

Joe Theismann's is conveniently located across the street from the King St. Metro. There is no parking in the Metro lot as it is undergoing reconstruction. You may park in the garage behind the restaurant for $3.00/hour or on the street.
