Hike - Gathland State Park

Please join us for a moderate 7-mile hike from Gathland State Park to Weverton Cliffs.

Here's the details: Meet at the Weverton Road Park & Ride parking lot at 11 a.m. State Park, where our hike begins.
The hike will take about 3 hours. It's 6 miles to the cliffs then another 1 mile downhill to the parking lot. Then we'll head back to Gathland State Park to pick up cars.
Gathland State Park, 900 Arnoldstown Road, Jefferson, MD 21755 is located in Washington and Frederick Counties, 1 mile west of Burkittsville, off MD Route 17.

Carpools: meet at the Shady Grove Metro Kiss and Ride (on the east side of the tracks) at 10 a.m.
