Sun Valley, nestled in the Wood River Valley of the Sawtooth Mountains Recreational Area, has an abundance of constant-pitch terrain, substantial vertical drop, an absence of wind, and short lift lines. Mountain:
Sun Valley is situated across two mountains: Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain. "Baldy" offers expert skiers and snowboarders a variety of challenging bowls and glades off the peak, while Dollar Mountain is a beginner's dream with gentle, perfectly groomed slopes.
Bald Mountain terrain spans 2,000+ acres with challenging bowls, glades as well as, gentle groomed runs. Trails are rated 36% Beginner, 42% Intermediate, 20% Advanced and 2% Expert. Sun Valley is serviced by a modern lift infrastructure and a well designed trail system. With a vertical drop of 3,400’ and 121 runs in total, the longest being three miles, there is something here for every skier and any ability.
The mountains aren't standing still in time, come and check out the latest developments: As part of a multi-year improvement plan, the resort has added a 350 acre terrain expansion called Sunrise and a new, modern lift in the Cold Springs area of Bald Mountain called Broadway. Current projects include the replacement and realignment of the Challenger chairlift on the Warm Springs side of Baldy, the construction of a new chairlift that will replace the Flying Squirrel lift that was destroyed by a fire in 2014, and the extension of the Flying Squirrel ski trail with new snowmaking.

You can also ski 7 days at Sun Valley by ordering an Ikon Pass directly from our Tour Operator Winter Ski & Sports. By purchasing through the tour operator, you will receive an incentive rebate based on purchase of complete trip package as follows: Full: $70 Base Plus: $60 Base: $50 4 Day Session: $25,If air is not purchased rebate is reduced to $30 for passes above the 4 day session.

Cancellation Fees:
A $50 cancellation applies for any cancellations prior to 10/08/24. Afterwards, the participant will also be responsible for any unrecoverable expenses, including 3% credit card transaction fees on applicable payments.
Payment Schedule (per person):
$500 deposit is due w/ registration. Remaining balance is due on October 8, 2024, and may be paid by credit card or check. Please mail payment check to SCWDC, 5309 Langston Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22207. Do NOT mail payment check to the trip leader.
