This is the 11th Warren Miller Movie and Ski Expo hosted by the Ski Club of Washington, DC. It is an annual fall tradition for snow sports lovers, snow enthusiasts, and adrenaline seekers of the greater DC Metro area to view an exclusive screening of this movie that captures breathtaking skiing and panoramic splendor.
The movie screened on a ginormous 46’x16’ High Definition screen with state-of-the-art 7.1 digital surround sound (largest High Definition screen in the DC region) in an intimate 250-seat movie theater, from a plush, tilt-back seat with unobstructed view, in stadium-style seating. With goodies for every ticket holder and prize drawings at every screening, it is the perfect excuse to get together with your skiing and riding buddies to get stoked for the season ahead. Attendees will be able to enjoy the free Ski and Snowboard Expo before or after the movie for winter sports, travel, sportswear and equipment exhibits.
Exhibitor will be provided, if requested, a 2.5'x6' table with a white table drape. Exhibit space is 10'x10'. Wall outlets are few, so extension cords and/or battery pack (generator) maybe required. Food and water will be provided to exhibitors in a breakroom, away from the crowd.
Screening times are 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm. Theater doors open 30 minutes before each screening. Setup time begins at 10:30am, and to be completed by 11:00am, to give the 12pm attendees time to visit exhibits before theater doors are open. Film, including intermission, is 2.5 hours long. Busy time is 2pm to 3pm, and 5 pm to 6pm. Teardown begins after the 3rd show intermission unless you decide to hand out after the end of the 3rd show if you expect more traffic.
There will be a raffle drawing at the end of each intermission. Raffle prize donations are very much appreciated but are not required. Due to WME contract restrictions, I can not provide attendee contact information. However, you can collect contact information at your exhibit table by using a raffle entry box to collecting raffle prize entry form. You can draw raffle prize winners during the intermission or after the show, to bring traffic and eyes back to your exhibit.
