MEET on the Smithsonian Mall at the Entrance to the Smithsonian Metro Station, Wash., D.C.

We will walk from the Smithsonian Mall Metro Station across Constitution Avenue to the site of the National Christmas Tree and Pathway to Peace on the Ellipse.  Afterwards. we will return to the Smithsonian Mall and continue our hike, possibly as far as the grounds of the U.S. Capitol to observe the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree.  Afterwards, Hikers will be invited to meet at the DC Penn Quarter for Burgers and a Beer.  We will socially distance. Do bring your mask.
