BLACK SALT is part of the Black Restaurant Group in DC, owned by Jeff and Barbara Black. It is considered one of Washington's premier seafood restaurants, wholly committed to the sustainability of fish and shellfish stocks worldwide. Jeff and Barbara Black opened their first restaurant, Addie's, in Rockville in 1996. They have successfully expanded since then with five more restaurants and a bar in DC, Takoma and Bethesda. All of the restaurants in the Black's restaurant group have received high recognition in the area restaurant scene. Street parking is easy to find near the restaurant on MacArthur Blvd or on side streets. There is also a large Safeway parking lot nearby.
