Meaza Zemedu is the owner of "Meaza". She is from Ethiopia and started baking the traditional injera bread for Ethiopian stores, then she opened her restaurant. She serves the national dish of Ethiopia, doro wat stew which is chicken, red pepper, garlic and hard boiled eggs. Many dishes are flavored with purified butter which has less fat than regular butter. Vegetarian and non spicy food available upon request. Her restaurant has been featured in the Washingtonian and the Washington Post. Utensils optional.
