100% genuine West Virginia snow!! Great skiing and boarding begins with great snow and a peak elevation of 4,280 ft. Canaan Valley Ski Resort offers an 850 ft. vertical drop, the longest run at 6,000 feet, 39 slopes, and 150” of annual snowfall, along with the beauty of a West Virginia ski resort.
This SPE (Ski/Snowboard Performance Enhancement) Weekend includes three days of skiing and/or boarding. By popular demand, a two-night option is again available for those who want to ski/board only on Saturday and Sunday. All participants will receive two half-day small group lessons with the Club's ski school volunteers at Canaan Valley Resort. Our PSIA/AASI-certified instructors will help you achieve your goals, whether you have never skied before or are an expert looking to refine your technique. Ski School instructors are volunteers, so gratuities are graciously accepted. Three-night participants will ski/board at the uncrowded Timberline on Monday. Participants who are 70 and older receive a complimentary two-day lift ticket at Canaan Valley!
Participants will stay at the well-appointed resort lodge in spacious lodge rooms. The lodge features an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, Sauna, and Fitness Center. Families and friends can book one of our two exclusive 4-bedroom deluxe Cottages. Contact the trip leader for pricing for the trip amenities, e.g., lift tickets, lessons, etc., for your group of one to eight occupants. The trip leader is not allowed to offer additional nights at the resort. Contact the resort directly if you wish to arrive early or extend your stay.

Transportation to/from the resort and mountains, ski/board rentals, instructor gratuities, meals, and any other items not listed above are not included in the trip price. Optional private lessons may be arranged at an additional cost.
Cancellation Fees:
A $40 or $45 (depending on price) cancellation fee applies for any cancellations before 12/5/26. Participants who cancel after that date will also be responsible for unrecoverable expenses, including 3% credit card transaction fees.
Payment (per person):
Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Participants must be current SCWDC members or pay an additional $40 guest fee, which is higher than the annual cost of a membership!
