Pre-Picnic Bike Ride at 2:45pm!

SCWDC Picnic - Details forthcoming.  Everyone’s welcome!

Location:  Columbia Island Marina, Arlington, VA

Time: Our bike Ride will start at 2:45pm from the Columbia Island Marina.

LEADER:  Morton Posner

We will leave from the Marina Parking lot and pick up the trail under the GW parkway bridge to the Mt. Vernon Trail.  Cross over Memorial bridge down to Ohio Drive.  We will pick up the Rock Creek trail to Thompson's Boat house where we'll detour to pick up the Capital Crescent trail by the Waterfront.  Follow Capital Crescent to the Bethesda then loop back the way we came.  Approximately 20 miles.  

Then we Party!

SCWDC Picnic will be at the Island Time Bar & Grill, Columbia Island Marina, Arlington, VA, just off  of the George Washington Memorial Parkway (south bound toward Mount Vernon). Our event space is outdoors, under a covered patio deck. There are also picnic tables on a grassy expanse. Details soon!
