THE CHERRY BLOSSOM TOUR!
Ride the Blossoms! This is a special event Bike Ride for spring. Weather permitting! In case of bad/cold weather we will plan for the following weekend SUN, 4/6 at 10am.
DESCRIPTION:
Start at the Shirlington Library
Take the Four Mile Run Trail to Mt. Vernon Trail
Mt. Vernon Trail North to Memorial Bridge
Cross Memorial Bridge into DC.
Pick up Ohio Drive – and south to Hains Point
Loop around Hains Point and back to the Tidal Basin
Dismount and Walk bike around the Tidal Basin while viewing the Blossoms and taking pictures
End Walk Tour at Ohio Drive Bridge. Mount bike and head down E. Basin Drive.
Right Turn onto the bike path across the road from the Jefferson Memorial food Kiosk
Cross over the 14th St. Bridge into Virginia and pick up the Mt. Vernon Trail (South)
Take the four Mile Run Trail at the end of National Airport and head back to
Shirlington. Lunch at Samuel Becketts after the ride for those who are interested.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working condition and your tires are properly inflated.
Helmets are required on all rides!
