Join Linda Khan on an out and back ride from Thompson's Boat House to the Mormon Temple.   You will be riding on the Rock Creek Trail which utilizes Beach Drive in parts (Beach Drive is closed on the weekends) giving you plenty of room to spread out.  After a stop for a snack and drink (bring your own), you will then head back into DC the same way you came.  After the ride, lunch will be at Nicks Riverside Grill on the waterfront.  

There is paid parking (about $7 for three hours) at Thompsons Boat House or you can park for free on Waterfront street on Sundays - We'll meet at the circle by Thompsons Boat House (see pic).  

Get there early so you have plenty of time to park!
