Great skiing and boarding begin with great snow, and with a peak elevation of 4,268 ft, Timberline Ski Resort averages over 150 inches of powder each season with a vertical rise of 1,000 ft. Canaan Valley Ski Resort offers a top elevation of 4,280 ft., 850 ft. vertical drop, longest run at 6,000 feet, 39 slopes, and 150” of annual snowfall, along with the beauty West Virginia ski resort.

This SPE Weekend includes three days of skiing and boarding. Our plans are to ski at Canaan subject to snow conditions.  Your trip will include daily small group lessons with the club's ski school. Our PSIA/AASI certified instructors will help you achieve your goals, whether you have never skied before or are an expert looking to refine your technique We will be staying in Spacious 4-bedroom deluxe cottages at the Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center that features an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, Sauna and Fitness Center

Not included in trip price: Transportation to/from the resort and mountains; ski/board rentals; meals not listed above; any other items not listed above.  Optional private lessons may be arranged at an additional cost.

*Cottage single supplement spots available; lodge occupancy also available at additional cost; Guest Policy: If you are a guest, a $40 guest fee is added to the trip price. Guests will be placed on a wait list until January 1, 2019.

Conduct/Waiver: The Ski Club has a published policy with regard to obnoxious behavior, disruption of any activity, use of illegal drugs and other detrimental actions. This policy will be adhered to on this trip. Violations of the rules can subject an individual to disciplinary action. Smoking is prohibited in all SCWDC sponsored indoor facilities and functions over which SCWDC has exclusive use and/or control. In consideration for the privilege of participating in this ski trip sponsored by the Ski Club of Washington DC (SCWDC), you shall hold the SCWDC, its officers and its trip leader(s), free from fault or liability for any injuries or losses sustained in connection with this activity. Your registration indicates your understanding and agreement to these terms.
