Day 1 - Banff

Arrive at Calgary International Airport in the Canadian province of Alberta and transfer to your hotel in Banff. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax or begin exploring on your own. Lake Louise, Canada

Day 2 - Banff

This morning, you will discover the spectacular terrain of Banff National Park. Take in the breathtaking, mountain-ringed turquoise waters of Lake Louise and vivid, glacier-fed Moraine Lake in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks. Following your half-day guided tour, you will have free time to explore Banff, Canada’s liveliest mountain resort town, at your leisure. (B)

Columbia Icefield, Canada

Day 3 - Jasper

Travel on the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to the dramatic canyon walls, waterfalls and lush forest of Johnston Canyon, a natural wonder carved into the limestone bedrock by thousands of years of water erosion. Continue along the fabled Icefields Parkway, stopping to marvel at the blue waters of Peyto Lake before you reach the snow coach that will take you across the surface of the majestic Athabasca Glacier. Arrive in Jasper this afternoon and check in to your hotel for your two-night stay. (B, D)

Day 4 - Jasper

From water-carved Maligne Canyon to lovely Spirit Island, visit the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. Set against a dramatic mountain backdrop, Jasper National Park is home to deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and bears and is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. British Columbia, Canada

Day 5 - Sun Peaks

Leave Alberta this morning and drive along the Yellowhead Highway to Mount Robson Provincial Park to admire the most prominent mountain and highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Stop in the Visitor Center to get more information about the park and its namesake mountain. In the afternoon, journey through the rugged spruce forests of British Columbia to discover the untouched beauty of Spahats Falls before proceeding to your hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

Day 6 - Vancouver

Check out of your hotel this morning and venture across the interior of British Columbia to Vancouver. Your route will follow the Thompson and Fraser Rivers, passing old frontier towns such as Cache Creek and Boston Bar, and wind through Fraser Canyon. Pass Hells Gate gorge and the town of Hope, and traverse fertile valleys on your way past Chilliwack and Abbotsford. Arrive late this afternoon in Vancouver, where you will spend two nights in your hotel. (B)

Day 7 - Vancouver

Today you will have the entire day to spend at your leisure in the beautiful, bustling seaport city of Vancouver. Take in the sights, stroll along the beach or join the optional excursion to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens near the provincial capital of Victoria on Vancouver Island. (B)

Day 8 - Vancouver

On the final day of your stay, enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of vibrant Vancouver. Discover the totem poles of Stanley Park; the Lions Gate Bridge, a National Historic Site of Canada; and colorful Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest neighborhood. You will have free time to continue exploring on your own before embarking your ship later this afternoon. (B)
