100% Genuine West Virginia snow!! Great skiing and boarding begin with great snow, and with a peak elevation of 4,280 ft.  Canaan Valley Ski Resort  offers an 850 ft. vertical drop, longest run at 6,000 feet, 39 slopes, and 150” of annual snowfall, along with the beauty of a West Virginia ski resort.

This SPE (Ski/Snowboard Performance Enhancement) Weekend includes three days of skiing and/or boarding. This year there is a two- night option available for those who want to ski/board only on  Saturday and Sunday. All participants will receive two half-day small group lessons at Canaan Valley Resort with the Club's ski school volunteers. Our PSIA/AASI certified instructors will help you achieve your goals, whether you have never skied before or are an expert looking to refine your technique. Three-night participants will ski/board at Timberline on Monday with the expert guidance of our volunteer instructors. Two-night participants will stay in comfortable 4-Bedroom Cabins and three-night participants will stay in spacious 4-bedroom deluxe Cottages. All will have access to the Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center indoor heated pool, whirlpool, Sauna and Fitness Center

• 2-nights or 3-nights in 4-Bedroom Cabins or Deluxe Cottages (Limited availability)

$155 surcharge for three nights or $109 for 2 nights 

Cancellation Fees:
A $40 cancellation applies for any cancellations prior to 12/16/22.  Participants who cancel will also be responsible for any unrecoverable expenses, including 3% credit card transaction fees on applicable payments. 

Payment Schedule (per person):
$75 deposit is due with registration. Remaining balance is due on December 16, 2022 and may be paid online by credit card, or by mailing a check. You may also pay in two equal installments (by check only, not by credit card): 

12/16/2022:  One-half of the balance
01/13/2023:  Remaining balance

Participants must be current SCWDC members or pay an additional $50 guest fee! This guest fee is higher than the cost of a membership!
