Cruising on a boat and cycling through a colorful countryside is the perfect recipe for a successful holiday. Biking and active during the day, the boat accompanies you along the river to welcome you at the day’s end. And if you do not want to cycle you can enjoy the tour on board, admiring the passing scenery!

The Rhine river is famous for its fortresses and castles and on this trip you will see many of them. We will be riding through the scenic countryside during the day, while staying on our own barge, "Arkona" at night.  Daily cycling is easy and meant for those who enjoy seeing the sights up close and personal. 

We will only be able to take 26 passengers so it is important to sign up as early as possible.  

Itinerary:

• Day 1: Cologne - city tour prior to embarkation (3 -5 PM)
  
• Day 2: Cologne - Beethoven, Bonn, approx. 37 km
  
• Day 3: Bonn - Andernach, approx. 45 km
  
• Day 4: Andernach - Koblenz, approx. 30 km
  
• Day 5: Koblenz - St. Goar, approx. 38 km
  
• Day 6: St. Goar - Rüdesheim, approx. 31 km
  
• Day 7: Rüdesheim - Mainz, approx. 33 km
• Day 8:  Mainz - Disembark after breakfast
