2026 SKI TRIPS  

For the 2026 ski season, we have planned 14 ski trips to premiere resort destinations in North America and Europe.

For 2026 there continues to be strong demand for ski holidays. Groups are filling up lodging, airlines and resorts fast. Let us make it easy for you and do all the planning for a stress-free trip with all the comradery and fun you could ask for. 

Our trips are complete packages, including air, lodging, transfers to/from the airport and resort, and an experienced leader who solves problems during the course of the trip. Most trips are priced without lift tickets, unless the lift tickets are bundled per resort requirement.  This is to accommodate those of you who have "MEGA" passes, where ski resorts are linked to several other resorts, and buying the pass for one means you can ski at another linked site without an additional payment.  These are termed, "EPIC" or "IKON" season passes.  Also, it makes it simple to accommodate our non-skiers, who pay the trip price without a lift ticket included.

Our EPIC resorts for 2026 are Beaver Creek, Crested Butte, Whistler/Blackcomb, and Madonna di Campiglio. Our IKON resorts for 2026 are Steamboat, Banff, Taos, Big Sky, and Sun Peaks. Canaan Valley features the INDY pass.  Whitefish is the largest ski area in the U.S. that is not on the EPIC, IKON or INDY ski passes.

More advantages:  we get the best group rates for lessons, equipment rentals, and trip insurance.  All our trips must be paid for online using a credit card.  An Advance Deposit will secure the registration until 120 days before trip departure, when the remaining balance is due.

THE TRIP SCHEDULE SHOWN BELOW IS MOSTLY FINALIZED, BUT SOME TRIPS ARE STILL SUBJECT TO CHANGE. TRIP DETAILS SUCH AS PRICING, AIRLINE AND LODGING DETAILS, AND PRE-TRIP AND POST-TRIP OPTIONS ARE STILL BEING FINALIZED. ONLINE TRIP REGISTRATIONS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE NO LATER THAN JULY 1, 2025.

Ski trips are open to active SCWDC members, and also to members of other ski clubs affiliated with the Blue Ridge Ski Council (BRSC).   All others must join the Club before registering for a ski trip.  Current members must ensure that their term of membership extends to the completion date of the ski trip.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We offer Group Trip Insurance - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you want to buy the trip insurance termed, "Cancel For Any Reason", you must buy this insurance within 14 days of a credit card transaction or dating a personal check for payment.  To purchase Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) Insurance, contact Myra Altschuler (Travel Protectors) directly. While we have favorable relationship with a local travel insurance, Travel Protectors, trip registrants can research and buy insurance from any US travel insurance company.  Prices and coverage vary greatly. It pays to spend time on your own research.

Food for thought: Until the moment you require it, travel insurance might seem like a frivolous expense to individuals who perceive it as a waste of money.

ARE YOU A SINGLE TRAVELER?

All rooms are double occupancy. We will assign you a roommate unless you specify a preferred roommate, somebody you know and is also signed up for the trip. If you don't want to share a room with someone who is not a family member or partner, check out the destinations with low, reasonably priced, single supplement upgrades.
